Helping the local church fulfill the Great Commission

What we believe

The Holy Scriptures: We believe the Bible is the God-inspired, inerrant and authoritative Word of God for the Christian faith and living.

The Eternal Godhead: We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ: We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, co-equal with the Father. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all the people by dying on a cross. He rose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven and will return again someday to earth to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

The Holy Spirit: We believe The Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son of God. He is present in the world to make people aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. As Christians, we seek to live under His daily control.

The Fall of Man: We believe that man was created in the image of God, but that by voluntary disobedience he fell from innocence and purity.

The Plan of Salvation: We believe that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us, signing the pardon of all who believe on Him.

Salvation Through Grace: We believe that we are saved by God’s grace and not by our works. We believe that upon sincere repentance, and a whole-hearted acceptance of Christ, we are justified before God.

Baptism and the Lord’s Supper: We believe that baptism by immersion is an outward sign of an inward work. We believe in the commemoration of the Lord’s Supper by the symbolic use of the bread and juice of the vine.

Baptism with the Holy Spirit: We believe that the Baptism with the Holy Spirit is to endue the believer with power; and that His incoming is after the same manner as in Bible days (Acts 2:4).

The Gifts and Fruit of the Spirit: We believe that the Holy Spirit has gifts to bestow upon all Christians; and that we should show spiritual fruit as evidence of a Spirit-filled life.

Divine Healing: We believe that divine healing is the power of Christ to heal the physically sick in answer to the prayer of faith.

Church Relationships: We believe it is our sacred duty to identify ourselves with and participate in the visible Body of Christ.

“Priesthood” Of Every Believer: We believe the Bible teaches that every Christian is called to “full- time” Christian service, regardless of his or her vocation. We believe that every believer is a minister and encourage every believer to find a place of service and ministry.

The Second Coming of Christ: We believe that the second coming of Christ is personal and imminent.

The Final Judgment: We believe that all shall stand some day before the judgment seat of God, and there receive eternal life or death.
